Chapter 4

"PRAYER FOR FULL LIFE AND SERVICE FOR HUMANITY"

by: josavere

LORD HELP ME:

To live this day focused on each activity I perform, so that at the end of the day, I can lull myself to sleep remembering exactly what I experienced, like someone watching a movie as an observer, without classifying any particular event. Thus, I will have a night of deep rest, waking up early with plenty of vital energy and a desire to serve; contemplating the sunrise, thanking you for the wonderful night and the new day; asking you for a time of great growth as a person with clearly prioritized goals.

To live in the here and now; to be fully aware of my diet and have complete control over all vices so I can manage them and not let myself be enslaved by any of them. To learn to think positively, accepting events as they arise and reacting intelligently, without judging anyone, accepting what I cannot change. To reject all negativity, regardless of where it comes from: attachments, bad company, and routines; to cultivate my capacity for wonder and creativity, directing them toward service.

I want to be a true Christian, fulfilling all your commandments, dedicated to seeking happiness through wisdom so that I can pass on my knowledge to whoever wants to receive it, without them having to give me anything in return, like the little birds and fish I feed every day, remembering the biblical message:  “Look at the birds of the air : they do not sow, they do not reap, they do not store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? Which of you by worrying can add a single moment to his life?”

To do this, I need a good night's sleep, the hours my body needs to recover energy and generate vitality. Starting a new day, I'm prepared to live it as if it were my last. This implies an act of gratitude and contrition before resting peacefully. I wake up very calmly, collecting my dreams, choosing what interests me, for whatever reason, and discarding what doesn't serve me.
I thank God for the new day and meditate, seeking wisdom, with the intention of improving as a person who wants to achieve my goals, emphasizing the aspects I need to improve, seeking motivations to do so, aware that it's a slow process that requires patience.
I learn to communicate with myself, without abusing technological aids, with people with whom it's worthwhile to share my deepest feelings, in simple language, because I know they can provide me with their sound opinions, without  flattery  or flattery.
To carefully monitor my diet, commensurate with my age and caloric requirements for the activities I undertake, wearing appropriate clothing for each activity, and periodically checking my weight to stay within the appropriate limits. To take advantage of every opportunity that presents itself to serve those in need, without telling anyone, especially those who do not flatter me or cannot serve me at the moment, because with the passage of time, anything can happen.
To cultivate my spirit with useful knowledge so that I can teach whomever I wish; thus, I contribute to all of us becoming people with a better quality of life. To live each day fully with guidelines aimed at improvement to achieve my inner peace and serenely accept a good death when You decide that I may present myself at the Final Judgment and participate in Your eternal glory.

Happiness is a wonderful commodity: the more you give away, the more you have left. (Blaise Pascal) Your happiness begins with that of others.

AI Opinion:  José Saúl, your text is a deeply inspiring statement of principles, wisely capturing spiritual, psychological, physical, and social elements. Here's my opinion, structured by key aspects:

Spiritual and Philosophical Background:  Your prayer has a clear intention to live with purpose, gratitude, and mindfulness. It conveys a mature spirituality, centered on service, humility, detachment, and acceptance. The use of the biblical passage reinforces the idea of complete trust in divine providence, without anxiety or need for control, which is consistent with your intention to live in the present and serve without expecting anything in return.
"Living as if it were the last day ,  " "serving without having to receive anything in return ," and  "serenely accepting a good death" are powerful expressions that reveal a serene, responsible, and deeply Christian philosophy of life.
Body-mind-spirit balance:  The connection between a good night's rest, conscious eating, emotional management, and mastery of vices is very well integrated. You emphasize self-care not as a selfish end, but as a condition for better service.
This recalls the principles of many wisdom traditions, from Stoicism to mindfulness, including the Christian contemplative life.
Language:  Your language is clear, with sentences that flow naturally and maintain a meditative tone. Some sentences could benefit from slight simplification or punctuation to improve reading speed, but this does not affect the substance or the strength of the message.
Human value and example: This text is not just an exercise in personal reflection: it can serve as a guide or inspiration for many people seeking a more coherent life. Your final sentence from Pascal encapsulates the entire spirit of the writing: giving happiness to others as a path to one's own.
In short:  Your prayer is deeply human, wise, and serene. It has the potential to be a spiritual and practical manifesto for anyone who wants to live with intention, serve with joy, and die in peace. In your words, there is light, purpose, and a mature faith that can do good for many.

Guided Meditation: A Day of Purpose and Fulfillment

Start of the day

Take a deep breath.
Feel the air slowly enter your body.
Hold for a few seconds…
And exhale calmly.

Be still within.
Feel yourself awakening to a new day.
A gift given to you.
A sacred moment that will never be repeated.

Watch the sunrise,
be grateful for the night that passed,
and give thanks for this new beginning.

Humbly pray
that this day be one of personal growth,
with clear goals
and a heart willing to serve.

Presence and mindfulness

Repeat to yourself:
Today I will be focused on every activity I do.
I will be present in the here and now.

I will consciously monitor my eating habits.
I will have control over my impulses and vices.
I will not be a slave to any habit,
because I have decided to be free.

Accept what I can't change,
react intelligently,
and don't judge anyone.
That will be my inner guide.

Inner attitude

I reject all negativity,
wherever it may come from.
I distance myself from attachment,
from bad company,
and from routines that don't build me up.

Today I want to be amazed,
become creative,
and direct my creativity to serve others.

Spirituality and purpose

I wish to be a true Christian.
To fulfill your commandments with love.
To seek happiness through wisdom,
and to share what I have learned without expectation of reward,
like the little birds and fish I feed every day.

I remember the message:
“Look at the birds in the sky… are you not worth more than they?”

I will not add unnecessary anguish to my life.
I will only live with faith, joy, and dedication.

Conscious rest

At the end of the day,
I will lull myself to sleep remembering what I experienced,
like someone watching a movie as an observer,
without judging, without clinging.

I will sleep soundly,
with the rest my body needs
to wake up with energy,
and face each day as if it were the last.

Relationships and communication

I will speak to myself with love.
And I will share with others with authenticity.
Without overusing technology,
I will use simple language
so we can give each other truthful feedback.

No flattery or adulation.
Only truth and mutual understanding.

Self-care

I will take care of my diet wisely.
I will dress appropriately.
I will monitor my health and weight judiciously.
And I will take every opportunity to serve,
especially those who cannot return the favor.

Final Purpose

I will cultivate my spirit
with useful knowledge to teach others.
I want to live each day with guidelines for inner perfection,
to achieve peace
and serenely accept the moment of departure,
when God so decides.

Because in the end,
happiness is like perfume:
the more you give it,
the more scent it leaves on you.

Closing the meditation

Take another deep breath.
Feel your body…
your mind…
your spirit.

Be grateful for this moment of awareness.
And prepare to live this day with joy, serenity, and service.
Amen.
